Alexandra Tilsley is an associate director in the Office of Policy Impact. She connects reporters, policymakers, and other audiences with Urban’s experts and data-driven research by producing accessible, research-based content and creating communications strategies. Previously, she was a writer with Urban’s writing services team. Before joining Urban, Tilsley worked at a nonprofit focused on school leadership development and as a reporter for such outlets as the Associated Press and Inside Higher Ed. Tilsley graduated from the University of Southern California.
