Justyce Watson is a policy program coordinator in the Office of Race and Equity Research at the Urban Institute, where she is the liaison between research teams and operations. She provides project management, operations support, writing and reviewing, and analysis of policy features related to interrupting structural racism and providing evidence-based solutions. Her writing appears on Urban Wire and in features and reports.

Before joining Urban, Watson centered her professional and academic experiences on community and people development solutions. She served The Marlo Companies Inc. as director of operations, where she assisted the chief executive officer in handling all administrative tasks, project management, client management, and meeting and conference facilitation.

Watson is a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute and holds a BA in communication studies with a focus on public relations from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
