Robert Broughman is director of security and chief security engineer at the Urban Institute, where he is responsible for the care of the computer infrastructure—in particular, routers, switches, and virtual servers.

Broughman has a BS in computer science from Allegheny College, graduating magna cum laude, and a BS in nuclear engineering from the University of Maryland.
